The Lord and Moses.

What’s cool about Moses is that he is a historical figure, not just biblical. His life is documented in secular history but the layer that makes it so beautiful to me is his relationship with the Living God.

Imagine God in the form of a cloud standing in your doorway just talking with you. Don’t over spooky this, imagine just you having a casual conversation with the Father. Isn’t that how you get to know someone? You talk to Him and He talks to you. That’s an exchange.

Moses even said “let me see you” he wasn’t afraid of God, sure he reverenced Him as he should but there was another layer there, think on that and imagine YOU being a “friend” of God. Moses spent so much time with the Lord it SHOWED on his face. Because of this intimacy, many lives were saved. Moses would go talk to God on behalf of the children of Israel. Moses did great exploits because of his relationship with the Lord. It’s amazing to think about.

I’ve put some scriptures below to give you a small insight to their friendship. I was smiling the whole time studying 💕

”And it came to pass, when Moses entered the tabernacle, that the pillar of cloud descended and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.“
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33‬:‭9‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here.“
‭‭Exodus‬ ‭33‬:‭15‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”And he said, “Please, show me Your glory.” Exodus‬ ‭33‬:‭18‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”Now the Lord descended in the cloud and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the Lord.“ Exodus‬ ‭34‬:‭5‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

”So the Lord spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend.“ Exodus‬ ‭33‬:‭11‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

It’s all about our relationship with Him. It’s the most important relationship I have.
