But they mean well..

They mean well. Be careful with those who “mean well” but are sent to slow you down, distract or stop you. You can see the devil coming but you are more welcoming when he comes in the form of a brother or sister in Christ. Everytime I’ve been told to quiet down or not post on Facebook it was from those I considered in high the faith. I look at them now and they’ve gone the way of the world. Social media tells you a lot about a person, oh they’re “with her” and they brown nose every celebrity online. One told me that Facebook was from hell and I should delete it, now she has two pages and is on more than me. This is why you have to be able to hear for yourself. 

I just had a conversation with a woman of faith who used a thousand words to tell me to not venture to do anything else. As soon as she said it my spirit felt sick. I KNEW where it was coming from and it was not God. This is the third time she has offered me some well meaning advice. See she “means well”(maybe) but it’s coming from a different place. I saw what she really meant in her eyes for a split second. We have to be careful bout well meaning “friends” they will talk you out of Gods will for your life. 

Peter meant well! But Jesus knew where it was coming from and shut it down. Shut it down. If you get a word from God, you don’t need to run it by nobody! DO IT! Tell them later. Whether folk stay or leave doesn’t affect the call on your life.
